Thanks to Nancy Burgess for today's Inpirational moment.
Lately I have been thinking a lot about flowers. The onset of spring is
undoubtedly the culprit as I drive down the road with my eyes looking out my
window and not my windshield, my neck craning to see the latest bloom beside
the road.
My fascination with spring flowers probably stems from my recent focus on
seasons, including those that represent portions of the calendar and those
that define parts of life.
There's just nothing like spring to remind me that regardless of my current
season in life, there is a bloom waiting to happen in the future. The only
variable is my patience in waiting for it to sprout.
I know it's a reminder I need regularly: Be patient, God's not done yet.
So as you weather life's changing temperatures, try to keep sight of what
may be flowering around the corner.
And in the mean time, try not to hit anything in the road.
