My most cherished possession is my smile,
yet it has no cost.
Without it though, I would surely be lost.
When it is returned to me it seems a little brighter,
and all my worries are a bit lighter.

My gift to you my friends is my smile...
Please enjoy for a while.
But you must be sure and
share your smile with all your friends,
that way it works and there is no end.

Twas the Night of Thanksgiving

Twas the night of Thanksgiving, But I just couldn't sleep.
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep
The leftovers beckoned --- The dark meat and white,
But I fought the temptation with all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation......
The thought of a snack became infatuation.....
So I raced to the kitchen, Flung open the door,
And gazed at the fridge full of goodies galore.

I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
Till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground !!

I crashed through the ceiling. Floating into the sky....
With a mouthfull of pudding and a handful of pie,
But I managed to yell as I soared past the trees......
HAPPY EATING TO ALL !! PASS THE CRANBERRIES PLEASE !!

If Jesus Came

Would you have to change your
clothes before you let Him in?
Or hide some magazines, and put
the Bible where they'd been?

Would you hide your worldly music
and put some hymn books out?
Could you let Jesus walk right
in, or would you rush about?

And I wonder... if the Saviour
spent a day or two with you,
Would you go right on doing, the
things you always do?

Would you go right on saying, the
things you always say?
Or would life for you continue
as it does from day to day?

Would you take Jesus with you
everywhere you go?
Or would you maybe change your
plans for just a day or so?

Would you be glad to have Him
meet your closest friends?
Or would you hope they stay away
until His visit ends?

Would you be glad to have Him
stay forever on and on?
Or would you sigh with great
relief when He at last was gone?

It might be interesting to know,
the things that you would do,
If Jesus came in person, to spend
some time with you.
