Dear Pastor Tim,
Our six year old granddaughter attends Central
Christian
Academy which is run by our church. She is in the first grade
and has been
saved. Just wanted to share the following with you:
I just had to write and tell you about Brandi and this will
surely warm your
heart. I picked her up from school this afternoon but her
mother came and
got her so they could spend a little time with her. She will be
back by
bedtime to spend the night.
Anyway, she called me up a short while ago, and she said, "Know
what
granny?".
I said, what baby?
She said, "Me and my friend
Danielle who
lives in the neighborhood were outside playing a while ago, and I
asked her
if she had ever accepted Jesus in her heart. She said, no.
So
I asked her
if she wanted to accept Jesus in her heart and she said yes, so
I prayed
with her and said, Dear God, please let Jesus come into my
heart, and help
me to live for Him and not do bad things, in Jesus name, Amen,
and she
accepted Jesus in her heart, and then I read her some scripture
out of the
Bible. That makes me a missionary."
"I said it sure does darlin, and I am so proud of you!"
When I hung up the phone, I was rejoicing and just thanking God
for sending
her into our lives, and for our church and the Christian school
where she
learns about Jesus. She is truly a blessing sent from God
above.
Isn't this really something for a six year old child? I can't
thank God
enough for her and how He is working through her. That just
made my day,
and I know the Angels in Heaven had to be rejoicing too!
